In the position of Site Attendant your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Document all authorized entrants to the BWDS (Bulk Waste Disposal Site)
  • Assist and guide authorized personnel to where each waste stream will be dumped
  • Monitor authorized personnel’s material being disposed of for unacceptable/mixed materials
  • Operate snow blower/shovel to clear snow in designated areas as required
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the BWDS and office areas
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations through proven results
  • Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid G-Class licence
  • Clean drivers abstract and CVOR
  • Able to work Saturdays when required
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work safely around heavy equipment
  • Good understanding of hand and spotting signals
  • Ability to work outdoors, in all elements
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and able to obtain security clearance
