About Us: Cap-it has all of the accessories and products to make any Overland Adventure great We source and warehouse the best products from across North America and beyond. We strive to carry the perfect products for Overland Adventures or weekend outdoor escapes. We also have a large line of Suspension products, and all types of vehicle racking – all from the best manufacturers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Retail Store Manager to bring our Burnaby location to all new heights.
PositionThe duties of the Retail Store Manager are as follows:
- Work with the store owners to plan and direct the operations of the store.
- Manage all staff members and assign duties as needed.
- Assist Owners in reviewing consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Order merchandise to ensure store is fully stocked, and implement price and credit policies.
- Collaborate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale.
- Develop marketing strategies and provide plans to Owners for review and approval.
- Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor store revenue.
- Evaluate staff customer service in the store and advise staff on ways to improve the quality of service.
- Respond to customer questions and complaints.
- Direct staffing requirements regarding training and retention of staff.
The job requirements for Retail Store Manager are as follows:
- Completion of Secondary School.
- At least 3 years of experience in the sales industry.
- At least one year of experience in operations, and one year of experience in vehicle sales and/or maintenance industry.
