Join Our Team

You will be Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst responsible for tracking new laws regarding regulatory and governance that may impact business. You will report to the Associate General Counsel, Head of Regulatory.

Your responsibilities will include:

Regulatory Duties:

  • Review and analyze state insurance department statutes, regulations, bulletins, etc. to determine new filing and regulatory requirements that impact the Company’s businesses and operations.
  • Provide guidance and direction to business units on implementation of new laws and regulations arising related to statutory filing requirements business and operations.
  • Manage and coordinate regulatory examinations, including financial examinations, market conduct examinations and other internal and external audits.
  • Manage fines and penalties tracking and KPI reporting for the team.
  • Completes analytical reports and provides analysis of data.
  • Handle complaints against the companies.
  • Supporting other regulatory reporting analysis and activities as required.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university and 6+ years related experience and/or training.
  • Strong insurance regulatory filing background. Knowledge of business line products, including company organization and procedures.
  • A notary license is preferable.
  • Excellent verbal written and people skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. Ability to work with remote teams.
  • College level. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must have strong capacity for analytical thinking and problem-solving related to regulatory operations activities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Possess/exude a collaborator job attitude.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 per year to $100,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
