We are seeking a seasoned Technical Talent Management Lead with experience in the IT sector to lead our talent acquisition efforts and drive strategic workforce planning initiatives. Connex Telecommunications is a trusted partner in the contact center integration space, delivering innovative technology solutions and top talent to our diverse client base. To support our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced recruitment leader who can develop and execute comprehensive talent strategies aligned with our long-term business objectives.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership, department heads, and sales teams to identify critical skill gaps, design innovative recruitment programs, and build a robust pipeline of top-tier technical talent. Your strategic insights and data-driven recommendations will directly influence hiring decisions and position our organization as an employer of choice in the industry.

With your exceptional stakeholder management skills and in-depth understanding of the contact center integration landscape, you will forge strong partnerships with key vendors, staffing agencies, and industry professionals to optimize our recruitment efforts and ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates. Additionally, you will leverage your technical expertise to support pre-sales activities and client negotiations, further solidifying our reputation as a trusted solutions provider.

Objectives of this role:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive talent strategy aligned with the organization's long-term business objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to influence hiring decisions at the executive level.
  • Assist in hiring for roles such as full stack developers, front-end/back-end developers, and contact center integration technology professionals (e.g., Genesys Cloud, Engage, Cisco, Omilia).

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze workforce trends, identify key talent gaps, and design innovative recruitment programs to attract, hire, and retain top technical talent for the organization.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the recruitment department, including setting objectives, formulating strategies, and supervising their execution.
  • Empower and mentor the recruitment team to elevate their skills in sourcing, interviewing, and closing top-tier candidates.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sales activities for staff augmentation requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department heads, sales leadership, and other key stakeholders to understand their evolving hiring needs.
  • Manage and optimize the organization's network of recruitment vendors, staffing agencies, and industry partners to ensure a robust and agile talent pipeline.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and service-level agreements with recruitment vendors to maximize the return on investment.
  • Regularly review and report on the performance of the recruitment function, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in senior technical recruitment or talent acquisition leadership roles.
  • Proven record of developing and executing successful talent strategies in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
  • Experience with contact center technology (Genesys, Nuance, Cisco, LivePerson) is preferred.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, data analysis, and performance reporting to drive informed decision-making.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Bilingual (French) is an asset.
