$85k plus $20k in quarterly incentives available if KPI’s are met.

The AM Operations Manager is directly responsible for all AM operations, personnel, activity, and processes associated with the accurate and on-time receipt, storage, handling and shipping of ProPacific Fresh products during designated shift hours. The AM Operations Manager’s daily tasks and accountabilities are specifically intended to consistently position PM Shipping Teams for maximum daily success as defined by on-time route departures, selection accuracy, productivity, and safety. This position operates in a cyclical, highly dynamic, fast paced, and deadline driven environment where teamwork and firm adherence to established process are critical to success.

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Perform to all measurable objectives associated with respective personnel i.e. the Operations Coordinator, Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, Production, Sanitation, Receiving/Quality Control, and AM Shipping.
  • Deliver a SAFE, fully-replenished, clean, well-organized, and ready-to-ship warehouse to the PM Operations Team at the close of each day
  • Adhere to all Employee Safety, cold-chain management, food safety, compliance and/or regulatory requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and apply a comprehensive knowledge of all associated technologies
  • Manage assigned tasks associated with 3rd Party audits, facility maintenance, and material handling equipment
  • Ensure direct reports are well informed, cross-trained, and positioned for success at all times
  • Coordinate and manage efforts to minimize expense, eliminate damage and prevent errors.
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure the proper and timely completion of paperwork i.e. time/wage auditing, receiving documentation, scheduling and other required documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • At least 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Supervisory/ management experience
  • Food service and/or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines
  • Good computer skills; ability to learn internal applications
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)
