On July 27, 2023, TC Energy announced the intention to spin off our Liquids Pipelines business and separate into two independent, investment-grade, publicly listed companies– TC Energy and South Bow. Please note that all hires will continue to be formally employed by a TC Energy employing entity until the separation is complete.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's cybersecurity infrastructure.
As part of a newly established organization, this individual will have the unique opportunity to rework and optimize our security policies, processes, and practices. The goal is to ensure alignment with industry standards and best-in-class cybersecurity principles.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical abilities and a deep, hands-on understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a proven track record of delivering innovative security solutions.

What you’ll do
Align organizational security strategy with overall business and technology strategy.
Plan and research robust security architectures for IT projects.
Support the design, build, and implementation of enterprise-class security systems.
Perform or supervise vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments.
Stay informed about ongoing changes in the security landscape, including new risks and applicable regulations.
Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and educate stakeholders on preventive measures.
Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for enhancing our cyber safety strategies.
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure clear communication of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Coordinate with stakeholders to complete internal and external self-assessments as required.
Support Incident Response Drills; including facilitation and developing scenarios for the drills.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cybersecurity-related matters.
Participate and develop relationships with external Trade Associations
Minimum Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Professional cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, SANS, etc.) are highly desirable.
Experience working with Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems is an asset.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a cybersecurity architecture role.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, and security compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment where change occurs continuously.
Effective relationship building and collaboration with team members, business partners and key stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking mindset with proven experience in continuous improvement.
Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to work efficiently and effectively under minimal supervision.
Well-developed organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Passionate about Cybersecurity and understanding of introductory Cybersecurity concepts.
This position requires candidates to:
Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)
Travel across North America to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training (estimated up 10% of work schedule)
