Tasks
  1. Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  2. Coordinate the activities of the HR department in order to ensure they meet the organization's goals
  3. Evaluate daily operations
  4. Plan and organize daily operations
  5. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  6. Review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations
  7. Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements
  8. Establish and implement policies and procedures
  9. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  10. Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  11. Manage training and development strategies
  12. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  13. Oversee development of communication strategies
  14. Oversee payroll administration
  15. Conduct performance reviews
  16. Propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures
  17. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
Computer and Technology Knowledge:

MS Excel, MS Word, Automatic data processing (ADP)
