Responsibilities
• Hire and train staff • Order merchandise • Establish work schedules • Sell merchandise • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters • Organize and maintain inventory • Resolve problems such as customer complaints and supply shortages • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers • Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility • Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
Requirements
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience • Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheets, and inventory control software • Experience in art or fashion design, accessories, sports wear, men's clothing, jewelry, high fashion, headwear, footwear, day or office wear, and fur fashions • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Key Skills Needed
• Knowledge of word processing software • Knowledge of spreadsheets • Knowledge of inventory control software • Art or fashion design experience • Experience in accessories, sports wear or active wear, men's clothing, jewelry, high fashion - haute couture, head wear, footwear, day or office wear, and fur fashions • Excellent oral communication skills • Excellent written communication skills • Ability to multitask • Efficient interpersonal skills • Flexibility • Organized • Reliability • Team player • Initiative
