Position: Environmental Project ManagerOur client is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager (Intermediate or Senior) to join their expanding team. This pivotal role offers opportunities for personal and company growth, involving the support or leadership of a diverse portfolio of multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Environmental and Reclamation service portfolios under the guidance of the Division Manager.
- Oversee projects, schedules, and budgets using established project management methodologies.
- Offer technical leadership as a subject matter expert.
- Lead or support business development activities for the reclamation sector.
- Assist in creating project forecasts, schedules, and plans.
- Participate in leadership meetings and corporate reporting activities.
- Interpret and advise on pertinent environmental legislation.
- Develop systems, processes, procedures, standards, and tools reflecting best practices.
- Provide approval for projects and regulatory applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
- Positive attitude and self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Prior project management experience in Western Canada.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Previous experience in environmental consulting in Western Canada.
- Familiarity with provincial and federal environmental legislation.
- Commitment to safety.
