General office Tasks- Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings
- Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations
- Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates
- Prepare engineering designs and drawings
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Certification by a provincial or territorial association Civil engineering technology (CVT)
Computer and technology knowledge: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment AutoCAD MS Access MS Excel MS Outlook MS PowerPoint MS Project MS Word Civil engineering experience Waste handling sites Roads and highways Sewers and sewage treatment facilities Airport Transportation/travel information Willing to travel Valid driver's licence
