We are looking for a Junior Accounting Technician to join our wonderful team and contribute to the ambitious growth of the group.

YOUR MISSION

Based at our headquarters in Boucherville and reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the following functions:

Accounting:

  • Manage accounts payable: record supplier invoices in the accounting software and process payments;
  • Ensure that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures;
  • Verify and record expense accounts for each site;
  • Collaborate with team members to update cash balances and reconcile them at month-end for our 4 sites;
  • Reconcile and record credit card statements;
  • Prepare daily sales comparison reports;
  • Assist the accounting team with other related tasks.

Payroll:

  • Manage the complete payroll cycle for over 250 employees using the Employeur D system with support from the Director of Finance;
  • Perform other payroll-related tasks (vacation reconciliation, year-end summary).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have a degree in accounting (DEP, DEC, AEC);
  • You have 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting or a combination of relevant education and experience;
  • Experience in payroll processing;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and familiarity with SAGE accounting software (an asset);
  • You can communicate effectively in French (both oral and written), intermediate English proficiency;
  • You stand out for your organizational skills and autonomy.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS AND WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full-time (40 hours per week);
  • Hybrid telework option available (office in Boucherville);
  • Occasional travel may be required to different sites;
