About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team at RONA Inc. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a critical role in the validation and processing of invoices related to company expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Validation: Verify and validate invoices received via an artificial imaging system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Expense Management: Analyze expense approvals in compliance with expense authority levels, reconcile purchase orders with invoices, and request corrections where necessary.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to various internal departments in the expense management process, as well as to suppliers regarding invoicing and related payments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Follow up on urgent files, provide accurate reports to various stakeholders, and perform all other related tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: D.E.C. or D.E.P. in accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel intermediate, Outlook, Word), and knowledge of Oracle Cloud an asset.
  • Experience: 2 years' experience in the accounts payable sector.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work independently, good judgment and initiative, team player, ability to work to tight deadlines, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
