Adecco Engineering & Technical is searching for contract (12-18 months) Human Resources Manager for our client, a leader in their sector, to support operations onsite in Cambridge, ON. Joining their dynamic team, this role is a stand-alone HR Manager, with the ability to touch all parts of the organization, provide advisory, and make a strong contribution in human resource issues. The ideal candidate will have prior HR experience with a high degree of independence, organization, initiative, and attention to detail. REQUIREMENTS – Human Resources Manager

- 3-5+ years of human resources generalist experience in the manufacturing or supply chain industries.

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources (designation an asset).

- Experience in a stand-alone or business partner human resources position.

- Generalist strengths with management advisory and coaching, payroll understanding, employee relations, recruitment and onboarding.

- Posses a solid understanding of current legislation.

- Able to work onsite.

- Resourceful, independent, organized, able to take initiative in areas of need.

- Strong verbal and written communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Human Resources Manager

- Provide support to all levels of the organization as needed

- Develop and maintain policies and procedures and other HR-related documents

- Address human resource related inquires and issues

- Organize recruitment, new employee orientation, onboarding, and training programs

- Maintain employee files and documents

- Set up employee benefits

- Track vacation, sick leaves, warnings, terminations

- Provide updates and communication to the team as necessary
