Your future role on our team:

  1. Lead a growing department in power generation and distribution in the industrial, power and natural resource sectors.
  2. Coordinate departmental activities, including preparing preliminary studies, detailed engineering activities, operational support for our industrial clients and site activities, while ensuring adequate planning of resources in terms of technical quality and productivity.
  3. Take on strategic initiatives and internal development projects intended to structure your department and help develop the Electrical discipline both regionally and nationally.
  4. Actively participate in developing and achieving the annual operational plan for your discipline.
  5. Promote creativity and innovation in your department’s methods and the development and use of design tools to maintain a high level of quality.
  6. Manage the department’s operations, in collaboration with managers from other BBA departments and offices.
  7. Oversee the recruitment and hiring of qualified personnel.
  8. Establish training and development activities for members of your department and support them.
  9. Actively participate in business development by attending client meetings and developing growth plans in natural resource markets.
  10. Help prepare and produce proposals, studies, reports, plans, designs, cost estimates and specifications.
  11. Take on a health, safety and environment leadership role.

Overview of certifications and job requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in consulting engineering, including 5 years in personnel management, or equivalent experience
  • Over 10 years of technical experience in electrical engineering
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in the mining and metals or renewable energy markets
  • French mandatory and functional English required
