Required Qualifications:

  1. Successful completion of a Phlebotomy Technician course

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of Medical Science/Technology Program or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (Assistant)

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:

  1. Extensive computer competency in Microsoft Office applications
  2. Excellent organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to deal with public/patients on specimen collection
  6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Assets:

  1. Bilingual
  2. Excellent attendance record
  3. Experience in Meditech software application(s)
  4. Experience in Phlebotomy
  5. Experience in Electrography
