What’s it like working as a Senior Analyst, IT Service Governance at Community Trust Company?

Reporting to the Sr Manager - IT GRC, the Sr. Analyst - IT Service Governance will play a key role in monitoring the performance of outsourced IT/Cyber services. The primary objective of this role is to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that IT services align with and support the business objectives of our company, while proactively identifying and addressing risks associated with IT service delivery. The incumbent will help design and enhance IT/Cyber service monitoring processes and controls in alignment with enterprise goals and priorities and implement them by working with internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent will work with relevant stakeholders to assess and report on the quality o f IT and cyber services provided by IT service providers and the associated risks and identify opportunities for improvement .

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support Manager IT GRC in designing, implementing and maintaining IT/Cyber service monitoring processes and controls in alignment with the company’s strategic goals, enterprise frameworks, statutory and regulatory requirements, risk appetite and industry best practices
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to establish IT service objectives, identify gaps, and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with outsourced IT service providers to establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) that meet the company's business objectives
  • Monitor and assess the quality of IT services provided by vendors to ensure they meet established standards and expectations
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions as necessary
  • Proactively identify and report on cybersecurity threats/risks posed by technology outsourcing and recommend risk responses
  • Work with vendor management teams and vendors to implement process improvements and best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of IT service delivery and risk management
  • Maintain documentation of IT service quality standards, processes, and performance metrics
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to IT service quality or performance in a timely manner, escalating issues to management or vendors as needed
  • Monitor the resilience of IT services and assist in developing exit strategies for vendor contracts, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations in case of service termination
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and ensure compliance with the least privilege principle to safeguard sensitive data and systems through regular access reviews
  • Review the IT asset reports provided by IT service providers and maintain CTC’s internal IT asset register
  • Actively participate in IT/Cyber risk and control assessments
  • Actively monitor, track, and report on IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery

  • A university/college degree in information technology, information security or related fields
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology Service Management, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and other related best practices.
  • Certification and hands-on experience working with ITIL, COBIT 2019 and ISO 20K is highly desirable
  • Experience working with outsourced IT service providers and managing vendor relationships
  • Experience in defining, reviewing, implementing and monitoring IT Service Level Agreements.
  • Good understanding of cloud computing, experience working with IaaS/PaaS solution providers is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management systems and controls
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Holds industry recognized certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CASP, ISO 27K, CEH, or actively working towards them (preferred)
