Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Mainframe.

In this role, you will coordinate and network with multiple partners to optimally deliver critical applications/solutions. You should be able to work in all phases of the software development process (SDLC) with a primary focus on development, maintenance, and support of various Mainframe applications related to the Capital Markets platform.

Responsibilities
  1. Programming, conducting code reviews, and testing software as needed.
  2. Providing L3 production support during market hours.
  3. Following project plans and task schedules.
  4. Taking ownership of application components and ensuring timely delivery.
  5. Ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications
  1. BE/B Tech/MCA.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Hands-on technical experience delivering Mainframe solutions using technologies including COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, STORED PROCEDURES.
  2. Excellent programming and debugging skills.
  3. Good working knowledge of Relational Databases.
  4. Nice to understand CICS Web Services and DB2 Stored Procedures.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within Technology, Business, and Operations.
  7. Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with them constructively while promoting this approach to other team members.
