Mr Fencer is a locally owned and operated company based in Tamahere and we are looking for their next office super star. Suited for an office all-rounder, you’ll play an integral part in the smooth operation of the business, providing comprehensive support to the Directors and the wider team. Working a 32hr week, this role oversees all aspects of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes with precision and accuracy.

What we are looking for

An experienced office manager with proven abilities in accounts/financial management, reconciliations and payroll, along with providing administrative support to a management team. Working within a small team, you will be highly organised and efficient with excellent stakeholder management ability to build relationships within the group of multiple companies.

Key responsibilities

  • Monthly accounts payable/receivable
  • Credit management – ensuring debtors are up to date
  • Weekly payroll
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Weekly cashflow reporting
  • Identifying tender opportunities for quotation
  • General admin support and office management

Additionally, you will possess the following:

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple companies in MYOB
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Beneficial but not essential is an understanding of construction contracts act proportion of completion invoicing knowledge
