One of our food processing clients is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead at Cambridge, ON for their facility.

Shift - Afternoon

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Quickly diagnose equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.
  • Coordinate and perform repairs on machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses, sourcing cost-effective solutions, and controlling expenditures.
  • dentify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in equipment maintenance and repair procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Possession of an Industrial Electrician (442A) and/or an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) license is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain productive relationships with employees, colleagues, and managers.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to effectively lead, motivate, guide, mentor, and resolve conflicts among team members.
  • Aptitude for maintaining meticulous records with accuracy.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as necessary, showcasing flexibility.
