In the R&D team your main responsibilities will be:

  • Model mechanical parts, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies, ensuring that the quality level meets standards
  • Research components for the production of our equipment
  • Make drawings and plans on SolidWorks
  • Establish the technical feasibility of projects
  • Support engineers in engineering calculations
  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions

The skills and qualifications required to succeed in your role:

Experience and diploma

  • An equivalent of a BAC in mechanical engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design/manufacturing.

Knowledge

  • Good command of modeling software (SolidWorks an asset)
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing equipment (manufacturing, assembly methods, etc.)

Required skills and abilities

  • Good instincts in mechanical engineering
  • Aliveness and curiosity
  • Autonomy and team spirit
