Site Superintendent

The Site Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day operations of construction projects. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality. Site superintendents also implement safety plans, resolve conflicts, and oversee the work of subcontractors.

What we look for?
  • Minimum of 5 years residential construction management experience with a volume builder.
  • Pursuing or completed Carpentry apprenticeship.
  • Recognized Journeyman ticket in plumbing, electrical or heating considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Desire for continuing education and personal development.
What will you do?
  • Plan and direct construction activities from start to move-in date:
    • Oversees the daily workflow of the site.
    • Ensure all homes are delivered on time, and within budget.
    • On-site implementation and management of Company safety program.
    • Project maintenance.
    • Customer satisfaction.
  • Management of subcontractors, including:
    • Scheduling.
    • Inspections.
    • Quality Control.
    • Approval of work.
  • Management of materials, including:
    • Scheduling and checking deliveries.
    • Correcting take offs.
    • Ensuring proper installation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
