Overview Of The Role

As a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer, you will be a key member of our consulting team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform for our clients. You will work closely with our clients and other members of the team to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing In The Role

  • Provide guidance and direction to the development team in implementing the design.
  • Provide guidance on the design of APIs for inbound and outbound integrations, and secure messaging.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the design and implementation of the Salesforce solution.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to ensure code quality.
  • Enforce standards and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Develop systems using SFDX, Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  • Develop custom code using Apex, Omniscript, and Lightning Web components.
  • Provide mentorship to other developers, including DevOps resources.
  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce technologies and trends.
  • Liaison with the Salesforce Product Team on issues or questions regarding the Department's Salesforce solution.
What Skills / Qualifications You’ll Need To Do The Job:

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Senior Platform Developer responsible for analyzing complex problems, proposing alternative solutions, and breaking down into workable tasks.
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and coach developers and other technical team members.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Apex, Java, JavaScript, as well as LWC and the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
  • Experience using Agile tools such as Scrum works, Jira, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of 4 or more resources.
  • Demonstrated development experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Demonstrated development experience with Salesforce Flows/Workflows.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing and Communities data models.
  • Experience with Rules Engine Configuration.
  • Experience in the design and configuration of healthcare applications.
  • Experience in development and configuration related to Cancer Screening Specific Programs.
  • Experience with FHIR and/or HL7 messaging standards.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration, web services with cloud-based platforms including AWS, and Azure.
