Our goal has been to provide Residents and their families with clean, safe, and comfortable homes.

Overview

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Property Operations, the Vice President of Property Operations is responsible for all aspects of Centurion’s residential and commercial operations across Canada, including the direct management and oversight of all Property Directors. The Vice President, Property Operations will have responsibility for the professional management, administration and leasing of all residential and commercial properties for Centurion Apartment Properties Inc.

Responsibilities

  1. Relationship Development: Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proactive timely resolution of staff, contractor, vendor, and consultant performance issues.
  2. Customer Service: Professionally oversee the management of all Resident and Employee inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns.
  3. Ongoing Operations: Oversee the professional management, administration and leasing of all residential and commercial properties for Centurion Apartment Properties Inc.
  4. Administration and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all Centurion Property Associates policies and procedures while identifying and implementing innovative strategies to increase operational efficiencies.
  5. Sales and Marketing: Work with the marketing and leasing teams to develop and implement innovative sales and marketing initiatives.
  6. Risk Management: Ensure ongoing compliance with current codes, technical safety standards and legislation.
  7. Capital Project and Building Management: Liaise with the Vice President of Technical Service and Innovations and Consultants for major capital projects.

Requirements

  • A passion for excellence in customer service delivery;
  • Post-Secondary degree in business or related field;
  • Minimum 10 years’ Multi‐Residential Operational experience within a national portfolio;
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully managing operating and financial performance;
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate Employees to achieve common goals and operational objectives;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong command of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Experience with Yardi property management systems.
