Position Overview:

This role is a key player responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's information systems and data. This role involves analyzing and mitigating potential security risks, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. The consultant will focus on working with security solutions and implementing and managing secure cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and policies for security solutions and secure cloud-based services.
  • Collaborate with security vendors to evaluate, select, and implement technologies aligning with organizational requirements.
  • Install, configure, and deploy security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and encryption solutions.
  • Design the management and maintenance processes for security solutions, ensuring their ongoing effectiveness and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based services and infrastructure.
  • Ensure the security of cloud-based services through access controls, encryption, and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of network and cloud-based services to identify vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements.
  • Perform penetration testing of networks, services, and websites, then provide solutions for resolution.
  • Monitor security events and alerts, investigate potential security incidents, and respond to security breaches in a timely manner, following established incident response procedures.
  • Perform network and OS forensic analysis to investigate security incidents.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in network and cloud security, emerging threats, and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders for the secure design and operation of cloud-based services.
  • Assist in incident response activities related to security incidents in cloud-based environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, ISMS, SOC, AWS) are highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in cybersecurity
  • Strong knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP systems, and encryption solutions.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and deploying security solutions and equipment.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features.
  • Knowledge of secure network and cloud architecture principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in implementing access controls, encryption, and monitoring mechanisms for network and cloud-based services.
  • Understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations applicable to cloud security.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
