About this role

We are recruiting for an Electrical Planner to join our Project Planning Services team. Here's how your role will strengthen our team. This position is a great opportunity for those with a background in electrical construction.

Your responsibilities
  1. Produce installation drawings for field teams to allow for efficient install of electrical systems on a project
  2. Interpret construction drawings including electrical, architectural, mechanical and structural
  3. Work in an office environment and utilize computer programs to efficiently produce the installation drawings
Your experiences and skills

Must be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or journey electrician with red seal ticket

Must have a minimum 4-5 years of field experience with:

  • Conduit Bending & Racking
  • Wire Installation
  • Distribution installation is an asset

High attention to detail

Positive attitude

Willing to learn or re-learn methods of planning

Good communication skills

Passionate about research & fine detailing within the planning scope

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Adaptable, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Should enjoy working with computers and be literate with Outlook, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, File Navigation

Solid understanding of the CEC
