Position Overview

Calian is proud to provide our public and private sector clients across Canada with psychological services such as pre-employment assessments for candidate selection. We are currently looking for Full-time Clinical Psychologists in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, and Halifax to join our dynamic team

When our clients who operate in high-risk scenarios are building their teams, they rely on Calian’s network of Psychologists to conduct assessments to ensure their applicants are fit for the job.

Join a team of Clinical Psychologists nationwide who are helping to ensure that federal, provincial, municipal and private sector organizations are staffed with fully assessed members who are ready to perform their duties.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for interviewing candidates who have previously undergone formal testing using the MMPI-3 and 16PF administered by Calian. After your one-on-one interview, you will complete a template with your findings. You will also have the support of our experienced Senior Consulting Psychologist.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting test results and then conducting a follow up clinical interview and ultimately determining whether the candidate meets or does not meet the requirements of our customer.
  • You may also be required to provide feedback on individual assessment results to the customer and defend psychological evaluations when requested.
Qualifications
  • 24-36 months of experience providing assessments for public entities in the last 10 years
  • Must have completed 50 assessments for psychological readiness of candidates in the last 10 years
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology is preferred, a Master’s with the proper background is also acceptable
  • Must be fully licensed as a Psychologist in province of practice.
  • Fully bilingual in English and in French is a strong asset.
Additional Requirements
  • Full-time contract – up to 40 hours per week.
  • Work can be done on weekdays, weekends and/or evenings. Flexible schedule
  • Must be able to conduct interviews with candidates in-person in a private office (fully remote cannot be considered at this time). If you do not have access to a private office, one may be supplied to you when required (evaluated on a case-by-case basis).

Responsabilités

  • Vous serez chargé(e) d'interviewer les candidats qui ont déjà subi des tests formels à l'aide des tests MMPI-3 et 16PF administrés par Calian. Après votre entretien individuel, vous remplirez un modèle avec vos conclusions. Vous bénéficierez également du soutien de notre psychologue-conseil principal expérimenté.
  • Vous serez chargé d'examiner et d'interpréter les résultats des tests, puis de mener un entretien clinique de suivi et, enfin, de déterminer si le candidat répond ou non aux exigences de notre client.
  • Vous pourrez également être amené(e) à fournir un retour d'information sur les résultats des évaluations individuelles au client et à défendre les évaluations psychologiques sur demande.
Qualifications
  • 24 à 36 mois d'expérience dans la réalisation d'évaluations pour des entités publiques au cours des 10 dernières années
  • Avoir réalisé 50 évaluations de l'aptitude psychologique des candidats au cours des 10 dernières années.
  • Un doctorat ou un doctorat en psychologie est préférable, mais une maîtrise en psychologie avec une formation appropriée est également acceptable.
  • Doit être titulaire d'un permis de psychologue dans la province où il exerce.
  • Le fait d'être parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en français est un atout important.

Exigences supplémentaires

  • Contrat à temps plein - jusqu'à 40 heures par semaine.
  • Le travail peut être effectué en semaine, en fin de semaine et/ou en soirée. Horaire flexible
  • Les candidats doivent pouvoir être interviewés en personne dans un bureau privé (le travail à distance ne peut être envisagé pour le moment). Si vous n'avez pas accès à un bureau privatif, un bureau pourra vous être mis à disposition en cas de besoin (évalué au cas par cas).
