Mississauga, Canada Curtiss-Wright Corporation Full time

As a QC Electrical Inspector, you will be working in a high mix/low volume Naval/Aerospace and Defense environment, conducting inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies, PCBs, wiring harnesses and related hardware.

Ensure all work is performed according to the company Quality Management System (QMS) and that all parts meet customer specifications

Identify non-conforming parts, record and initiate the process to disposition such findings

Inspecting electrical assembly, subassemblies, and components

Interface with in-house DND QAR during interim/final inspection of equipment

Your Expertise:

Must have previous Quality Control/Assurance experience.

Competent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Proficient in the interpretation of complex engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists and process plans

Superior skills in the use of electrical metrology instruments

Business system experience (Oracle) is an asset.

Experience with a Quality Management Suite, such as TIPQA is considered an asset

Excellent communication skills, plus the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment with minimal supervision.

Must have knowledge of calibration methods and standards.

Certification to the IPC J-STD-001/A-610 is considered an asset

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Graduation from an appropriate post-secondary program.

Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Curtiss-Wright's Indal Technologies specializes in helicopter securing and traversing systems, marine hangar doors, sonar handling systems, towed line array handling systems, sonar domes, towed bodies and fairings, and aviation support systems including horizon reference, pilot cues, and helicopter tie-down fittings for the world's navies.
