**AAA Canada is a manufacturing company that has been providing subcontracting and technical **assistance** to industrialization, **production** and maintenance processes for about 15 years**
**We **operate** in the Aerospace, Ground Transportation and Energy sectors.**
As a Quality Inspector at AAA Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our heavy-duty ground vehicle transportation manufacturing processes and products. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments at various stages of production to identify defects, deviations, and areas for improvement. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining strict quality standards will be essential in upholding our reputation for excellence in the industry.
**A typical day?**Perform visual and dimensional final inspections of heavy-duty ground vehicles including components, assemblies, and finished products according to established quality standards and procedures.-
- Investigate and communicate internally and externally any non-conformance issues and find resolutions to issues.-
- Utilize precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, to verify conformance to specifications.-
- Conduct functional testing and performance evaluations to ensure product reliability and functionality.-
- Document inspection results, including non-conformities and corrective actions, accurately and comprehensively using the Oracle system or similar quality management software.-
- Collaborate with cross-functional maintenance technician teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.-
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce defects.-
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance & production operators and other personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.-
- Adhere to safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.**Qualifications**:
A High School Diploma is a must.-
- Any Industrial Technician Diploma will be preferred, but not a requirement.-
- Any Engineering Technology Diploma will be preferred, but not a requirement.-
- An NDT Certification would be considered an asset, not a requirement.-
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).-
- Experience with full battery powered propulsion will be considered an asset, not a requirement.-
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferably in transportation or automotive manufacturing.-
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and equipment.-
- Familiarity with quality management systems, such as Oracle or similar ERP/MES software.-
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and deviations accurately.-
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.-
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving.-
- Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) is a plus.-
