In the capacity of a Senior Network Specialist, the individual will be entrusted with the task of deploying and overseeing sophisticated network solutions utilizing HPE Aruba and ClearPass technologies. This position will serve as the principal point of contact for a variety of network architecture initiatives, guaranteeing strong security, seamless connectivity, and resilience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, design, and analysis at a senior level. This role is instrumental in advancing technology strategy by improving network efficiency and dependability and laying the groundwork for cloud services and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, configuring, and managing network hardware and software elements, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Execution of security protocols to protect network systems from unauthorized access, data violations, and cyber threats. This includes configuring firewalls, setting up intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
  • Monitoring and enhancing network performance, throughput, and reliability, along with identifying and resolving issues related to performance bottlenecks and network congestion.
  • Involvement in network tasks while liaising with vendors and third-party service providers, including managing vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to standards, and facilitating the integration of new technologies.
  • Critical network analysis and troubleshooting, collaborating with vendors to share responsibilities and ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Performance evaluations of vendors, conducting reviews, and recommending enhancements to improve overall network efficiency and reliability are also part of the responsibilities.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Network Administrator or Network Engineer role in an enterprise environment, with architecture, deployment, and Level-3 troubleshooting experience.
  • 7+ years of proven experience in a network engineering role with in-depth knowledge of designing and architecting networks.
  • Demonstrated experience with HPE Aruba CX 6300s/8300s series, Aruba Central Management, and Wireless deployment and configuration. Experience with Aruba AP is preferable.
  • Possess one or more relevant certifications demonstrating expertise and proficiency in network technologies. Examples include ACSX - Aruba Certified Switching Expert, ACSP - Aruba Certified Switching Professional, ACSA - Aruba Certified Switching Associate, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP), and Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX).
  • Proficient working experience with HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass deployment.
