Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse in a manufacturing setting. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products, ensuring that productivity targets are met, and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
    • Ensure that all materials are properly stored and organized.
    • Oversee the timely and accurate recording of inventory transactions.
  2. Warehouse Operations:
    • Manage the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency.
    • Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staff to maximize productivity and foster a positive work environment.
    • Set performance standards and conduct regular performance reviews.
    • Manage staff scheduling and workload distribution to ensure coverage and meet operational demands.
  4. Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for warehouse staff.
    • Address and resolve any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and any issues impacting operations.

Position Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Able to cross the border/has a passport.
  • Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, well-organized, and reliable.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Two plus years in a leadership position.
  • Forklift license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
