Akkodis is seeking a Mainframe Programmer for a Contract position with a client located in Toronto, ON (Hybrid). Ideally looking for successful candidate seeking as Database Analyst/Programmer to support the Banks software upgrade as part of compliance. Supports Business Intelligence Support System (BISS) solutions. Supports enhancement to SAS and Mainframe based developerPosition: Mainframe ProgrammerLocation: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)Job Description:Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills: 1. 8-10+ years of Development experience. 2. 7+ years of hands-on experience in building data pipelines using tools like Mainframe/TSO (JCL/ PROC, ISPF) and Mainframe SAS. 3. Expert knowledge of Mainframe (JCL/PROC) and SAS. 4. Previous exposure to Mainframe and SAS upgrades. 5. Previous exposure to Data Migration from Mainframe to other platforms (RDBMS). Nice-To-Have Skills: • Exposure to MIS platforms, SQL based analysis on RDBMS like SQL Server/Sybase/DB2/Oracle. • Experience in Atlassian Jira/Confluence, GIT, TFS/Azure DevOps is an asset. • Knowledge of Canadian Banking source systems including Commercial Banking, Retail Lending, Day-To-Day banking, Small Business banking is an asset.
