At EXP, we’re driven to provide innovative solutions for the world’s built and natural environments. We are seeking an Intermediate Municipal Engineer to assist our Project Managers in delivering key infrastructure projects for our municipal clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production of detailed engineering drawings including watermains, sewers, site grading, profile, and section drawings
  • Proactively advance design techniques and procedures to support designers, project managers, and technicians
  • Review proposed construction plans and design calculations for compliance with municipal design standards
  • Act as a liaison with municipal clients, sub-consultants, approval agencies, and contractors
  • Coordinate and facilitate plan review meetings with municipal staff
  • Respond to public concerns regarding project design matters
  • Mentor junior staff

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree from an accredited college or university
  • P.Eng in Ontario or license in progress
  • 5+ years of practical experience
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
