We are adding a Winch Truck Driver to our team. The Winch Truck Driver is responsible for delivering camp modules and related equipment to and from various job sites throughout Western and Northern Canada. You would be working as part of a team through our Grande Prairie dispatch office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate company equipment in a safe, professional, and efficient manner according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Skillful in the operation of a truck mounted winch.
  • Familiar with laws regarding hauling oversize loads
  • Competent in the use of scissor neck and trombone trailers
  • Maintain clean equipment inside and out
  • Advise the Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
  • Participate in routine maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Local to either the Grande Prairie or Edmonton area
  • Class 1 Driver’s License required
  • Available to work fulltime work hours
  • Minimum 5 years of driving experience in various types of terrain, off road, and adverse weather conditions
  • Familiarity with the operation of ELDs
  • This position requires the following certifications: Standard First Aid, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
  • Personable attitude and professional appearance required
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication abilities
  • Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
  • Be able to provide a clean driver’s abstract
  • Be able to successfully pass a drug screen test
  • Be able to provide a clean criminal record background check
