Job Opportunity: Winch Truck Operator

MATRIX Camps and Logistics is a leading provider of camps, logistics, and aviation management services to various clients in the resource and service sectors. We prioritize safety, transparency, and cost-effectiveness in our operations.

We are seeking an experienced Winch Truck Operator to join our team at our project site in Nunavut. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving a winch truck and front-end loader to assist with offloading and loading heavy lift aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is desired, with experience and ability to operate a manual transmission, commercial transport truck required.
  • Level 1 First Aid Certification or equivalent 2-day course required.
  • Proven experience as a winch truck driver or similar role.
  • Experience working around aircraft is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and front-end loader operation, and experience required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
