Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate science teacher to join our team at Oakville Middle/High School for the 24-25 school year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans that inspire students to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with state and district standards
- Assess student learning and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and school-wide initiatives
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and stay current on best practices in science education
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment that promotes student learning and engagement
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and academic concerns

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in science education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification in science education
- Experience teaching science at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of science content and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff
- Commitment to student success and academic excellence
- Familiarity with technology and its integration into the classroom
