Summary:
Oakville Middle School/High School is seeking a full-time Math Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching math and a desire to help students succeed. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the school and its students.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to engage students and promote critical thinking
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and instructional practices
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth
- Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Valid teaching certification in Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of mathematics content and pedagogy
- Experience teaching middle or high school students preferred
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in ongoing professional development
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
