Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Assist with patient assessments and monitor health status
  • Administer injections for flu and travel vaccines
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Educate patients on health management and treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
  • Address patient questions and concerns
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree
  • Completion of a Registered Nurse (RN) program
  • Registered by the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) in good standing
  • Accredited CPR Certification in Alberta is required

Experience & Skills
  • Experience with patient assessments with a focus on pediatric assessment
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in patient care
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in Alberta
