About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Grande Prairie Kia. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and performing repairs and replacements as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Discuss Work with Supervisor: Discuss work with supervisor to ensure that all repairs and replacements are completed to the highest standard.
  • Review Work Orders: Review work orders to ensure that all necessary repairs and replacements are completed.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles to ensure that they are running at optimal levels.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
