Like WCG, you believe in the power of work to transform lives. As an Indigenous Relationship Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the development of innovation services, within the Indigenous cohort in partnership with Senior Employment Services management.

What you’ll do
  • Execute, measure and report on strategic initiatives to Director, Strategic Partnerships
  • Assess the external environment, including government policy changes and the market for opportunities to enhance client access to services
  • Lead and manage the development of innovation services, within the Indigenous cohort in partnership with Senior Employment Services management
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and support to service provider teams delivering within the catchment
  • Oversee the delivery of Indigenous clients and partners servicing within the catchments, to ensure that contractual, compliance and financial outcomes are achieved
  • Ensure clients have a flexible servicing environment that suits their individual needs to successfully attain ongoing employment
  • Lead and manage the development of innovation services, within the Indigenous cohort, in partnership with Senior Employment Services management
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Service providers and other local operational colleagues and appropriate external partners to ensure that WCG’s Service providers perform at the highest level across the contracts they deliver
  • Develop and maintain an effective relationship with the Director, Operations to ensure that strategies to drive performance improvement and manage underperformance, align with catchment priorities and requirements to meet the needs of the funder and wider social impacts
  • Ability to attend in person community, service provider and staff events/meetings and conduct community outreach as required
What you bring
  • A post-secondary degree, or diploma in leadership or business/management, preferred
  • Minimum five years combined progressive strategic leadership and contract management experience in the field of workforce development
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in different locations and travel as required
  • Solid understanding of confidentiality and other professional codes of conduct; must submit for a criminal record check
