Tasks:
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions

Surface Preparation Methods:

Abrasive head blasting, welding techniques (Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW))

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

Automated and robotic system, conveyor, fans and blowers, heat exchangers, hydraulic system, lathes and other machining tools, pneumatic system, power tools, pumps and compressors, tool grinders, welding equipment, hand tools

Area of Specialization:

Start-up and testing, renovating and restoring, troubleshooting, specialty welding, stainless steel welding, painting

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs), Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment:

Steel-toed safety boots
