About You

We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Staff/Lead Platform Engineer that wants to play a core role in the development of our core platform.
Note: This full stack role will be 50% FE (Typescript) and 50% BE (Ruby on Rails)

Example Responsibilities:

  • End to End Feature development: Responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of front-end/backend-end services.
  • Realtime Feature Dev: Contribute to and develop architecture for enabling real-time capabilities across our platform.
  • Building Front End Components: Building pixel-perfect front-end components (ex. Lit framework) and iterating user-focused applications and interfaces.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify, assess and improve bottlenecks or scaling issues. ie looking for ways to make the product better

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally Typescript)
  • Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development
  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices
  • Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)
  • Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline
  • Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
