About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team at Mitre Media. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using Ruby on Rails.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  2. Collaborate with our cross-functional team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  3. Develop and implement APIs, microservices, and other technical solutions to meet business needs.
  4. Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of our applications.
  5. Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Expert-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of web development principles, including scalability, security, and performance.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and data management.
  • Proficiency in MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Docker.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes, React, and Graph Database.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
