Project Manager- Supplier Transition

We are currently working with an established energy company who are looking to bring on board an experienced Project Manager to help them with transitioning to a new supplier base across all their 3rd party contracts.

The reason for the transition is to ensure that their suppliers fit align to their Digital tech services and sustainability strategy.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience working on large scale, complex transitions.

The core responsibilities for this role:

  • To manage, co-ordinate and deliver complex projects.
  • Assume ownership of the project plan.
  • Support the business functions to develop the project vision.
  • Making sure the the projects are aligned to the DTS and Business Unit strategy.
  • Establish and run the governance.
  • Ensure optimisation and ROI.
  • Communicate extensively with senior stakeholders.

Key competencies:

  • Ability to create a compelling project vision and motivate multiple technical and business teams.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Ability to create a sense of community within the projects teams.
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and control.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation process.
  • Good knowledge of programme and project methodologies (e.g. MSP, Waterfall, Agile)

This is a fully remote, 6 month contract opportunity.
