Bolton, Canada R-LABS Canada Inc. Full time
Coast to coast in every province and territory, Canadians are facing the shocking reality of major flood risks. It is taking its toll on individuals and businesses, and damages are costing upwards of $2 billion. Globally, asset managers, lenders, and insurers incurred $99 billion in losses in 2021 due to an insufficient understanding of property-level risks. By 2050, annual global losses are projected to soar to $5.6 trillion, and it’s only going to get worse.

That’s where we come in.

At NOAH, An R-LABS portfolio company, we are committed to making the world flood-resilient by leveraging cutting-edge engineering, expert insights, and advanced technology. We analyze land, infrastructure, waterways, and long-term weather forecasts to provide dynamic, high-resolution visual insights into flood risks. Our precise visualizations and insights equip asset managers, lenders, homeowners, and insurers with the information necessary to manage and mitigate flood risks effectively at the property level.

Our mission is to empower our clients to take proactive and informed actions to reduce flood risk, enhance building stability, and achieve peace of mind through meticulous planning. We serve a diverse range of stakeholders, including asset managers, developers, governments, insurers, lenders, and investors.

Whether it's assessing existing properties in vulnerable flood zones, corporate buildings in urban areas, or new developments, NOAH identifies flood risk through an assessment, followed by mitigation strategies to manage the identified flood risk impacts, summarized by a dynamic metric with access to a live monitoring service of the property.

Who We Need

We are looking for a CEO and Co-founder who wants to lead a de-risked venture-backed business. You will spearhead a team of innovators and experts and oversee NOAH’s growth from start-up to revenue-generating entity.

  • Equity Ownership and Compensation: As a co-founder, you will be granted equity shares ranging from 10% to 30%, directly linking your contributions to the venture’s success and growth. In addition to equity, you will receive a salary between $100K and $150K, commensurate with your experience and skills.

As our new CEO and Co-Founder, you will:

  • Lead product development and technology strategy. You will lead the product development process, ensuring that our technology solutions align with market needs and business goals. You will oversee the creation and execution of the technology roadmap, integrating customer feedback and industry trends to drive innovation
  • Build and lead a high-performing team. You will recruit new team members, fostering their development, and creating a productive work environment to support team efficiency and growth
