- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Xero
- Experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable, and payroll processes
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and explain complex tax concepts in a clear manner
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial planning
- Ability to work independently

Note: Experience/Education as an accounting clerk or similar role is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
