What would my role be?

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will provide general radiology services (including but not limited to providing x-ray examinations and patient care).

How do I qualify?

Required:

Three (3) year Community College Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology.
Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
Registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate

Preferred:

Experience in general radiography with infants to frail elderly
Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement).

What skills should I possess to succeed in the role?

Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Familiarity with the provisions of the Healing Arts Radiation Protection Act
Advanced computer skills.
Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
