About the Position:

This Nuclear Medicine Technologist position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team at Sinai Health System. As a key member of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, you will contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases using advanced imaging techniques and equipment. This role requires a strong foundation in nuclear medicine technology, with a focus on performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, bone mineral density exams, and quality control checks on nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
  • Operate, troubleshoot and ensure medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing effectively and efficiently
  • Prepare written and electronic reports documenting all procedures and test results
  • Participate in teaching, educational, research, safety, and quality improvement programs/activities
  • Meet the requirements listed below

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited degree/diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in Nuclear Medicine
  • Certificate of registration in the specialty of Nuclear Medicine from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
