Translate complex cross-functional business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions; partner with Product Team to understand business needs and functional specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs; evaluate project deliverables to ensure they meet specifications and architectural standards. Guide application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensures that teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, target state architecture, and strategies. Involved in day-to-day huddles for gathering requirements and preparing stories as part of our Agile process. Develop full stack web applications using React, Redux, Helix, Backyard Design System (BDS), JSX, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, JavaScript, Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis, Kafka, and REST. Extensively use React-Router to build applications using the single page application (SPA) architecture. Work with Props and Redux/States in React to manage data. Implemented RESTful APIs using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate and PostgreSQL database. Develop the persistence layer using Spring Data JPA. Implement different type of relationships like one-one, one-many, many-many, as well as implement embedded classes and inverse relationships. Have and maintain knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD login functionality to enable security and Single Sign On (SSO). Enable Redis cache to implement caching at API layer. Automate and simplify team development, test, and operations processes; develop conceptual, logical and physical architectures consisting of one or more viewpoints (business, application, data, and infrastructure) required for solution delivery. Solve complex architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible; work to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks. Provide mentoring and guidance to peer/junior level engineers; provide feedback and direction on specific engineering tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job requires a Bachelor’s degree* in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in any job title/occupation involving software development or a related field. *Employer will accept single degree or combination of degrees, diplomas and/or professional experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
Must have prior experience in:
• 5 years of experience in:
• Java8, JWT, SLF4J, JMS, Junit. Lombok, and Open API swagger;
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, and Spring JDBC template;
• MongoDB, Relational Databases including Oracle, Postgres, and DB2;
• Spring Data JPA, and ORM using Hibernate;
• Ajax, FTL, JSP, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, and JSX; and
• SQL Developer, GIT, PgAdmin 4, MSVisio, JIRA, and Jenkins.
• 3 years of experience in:
• Kafka and Kafka connect; and
• React, redux, module federation, and ESI.
• 1 year of experience in Azure AD Single Sign on implementation.
