About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our software development team at Software Defined Automation GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our software products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to the software development team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality products.
  • Product Development: Lead the development of new software products and features, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or defects that arise during development or testing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure that software products meet business requirements and customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in technical leadership and team management.
  • Skills: Expertise in software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, as well as experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with full-stack development using TypeScript at both the front-end and back-end.
  • Security clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher) - US Citizenship required.
