We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Toronto location for a highly motivated team player as a Warehouse Receiver to join our team

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for the receiving of all inbound freight including; purchase orders, samples, stock transfers, and returns etc., as required for branch operations
- Ensure receiving is completed in a timely fashion.
- Ensure stock is properly tagged and identified before being put away.
- Advise buyers of any problems/delays with incoming stock.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed correctly and quickly.
- Report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager (Supervisor).
- Perform general warehouse duties such as order filing, cutting, packaging and shipping.
- Follow all safety regulations and report situations as necessary
- Participate in inventory preparation and completion of company inventory counts.
- Act as necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 years minimum warehouse/distribution experience
- Some previous experience as a receiver or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be a bonus
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures
- Ability to load and unload materials
